Interview with – Saniya Puri (traveller)

Hi, today I will share an interview with Saniya Puri. I hope this will inspire all of you. For those who like to travel

嗨,今天我将与您分享Saniya Puri的采访。我希望这可以激励你们所有人。献给喜欢旅行的人

So let get start it 😀

所以,让我们开始吧 😀

1: What is your name?

      Saniya Puri

2: Which country do you come from?

3: Are you a backpacker / long-term traveller or live and work abroad?

   I am a medium-term traveller (approx 10days in a stretch)

4: Can you tell us about yourself?

I am a travel freak and an Engineer by trade but if we talk about my passion, nothing beats travel. I have been around 20 countries and am planning to travel the worldI started writing a blog recently to help other travellers and I include everything in my posts, from attractions to Hotels to Flights. All the information is based on my experience so I know that any traveller who reads my post will definitely benefit from it.

5: What is the first trip you remember taking and how old were you?

I remember my Singapore trip, I was 20 yrs old then. Though it was not my 1st trip but that trip ignited the spark in me to travel the world. I had so much fun there.

6: How often do you travel?

3 to 4 times a year at least but this number is definitely going to increase now 🙂

7: How many countries have you visited?

    20 like I mentioned above.

8: What’s your favourite place so far?

Paris!! That is the reason I have started writing an informational series about it.

9: What was the most memorable moment of the trip?

The Hongkong trip, when I was in Disneyland. Since my childhood days, this was my dream. I still love Disney the same way. The moment I saw the entrance of  Disneyland Hongkong – that was my memorable moment.

10: Have you had any bad experiences while travelling?

       oh, thank god, none yet.

11: How do you make an income while you are travelling?

      I have a family business.

12: When and why did you decide to travel?

I was on a family holiday when travelling became my passion. I started enjoying my holidays so much that I never liked coming back. Travelling teaches me so many things. I learn a lot about different cultures, history and I get to eat different authentic cuisines, yay. I discover myself while travelling. I feel more evolved!

13: Do you think we have to be rich to travel the world?

No, you just have to choose your priorities and spend according to them. If you love travelling then you will automatically cut down on different things and start funding your trips.

14: Do you have any advice or tips for aspiring traveller?

Stop wasting time on photography or videos while you are on a tour. Just live the moment. I am not saying that you should not click pictures, you must! But only when time permits. If you are on a night safari in Singapore and you spend all the time clicking the pictures then you will end up watching nothing. When you will be back home, you will be left with only photographs of that tour and no other actual observations. Remember photographs can be googled but not actual experiences.
