Hey, Babes! Welcome back to our travel blog interview, this will introduce a traveller from Australia. one of my favourite country. Today I will share with you the interview with Jordan Desira. I hope this will inspire all of you. For those who like to travel.

1: What is your name?

Jordan Desira

2: Which country do you come from?


3: Are you a backpacker / long-term traveller or live and work abroad?

All of the above haha, I backpack when I travel solo, I lived in London for 2 years to work and travel in Europe.

4: Can you tell us about yourself?

I am 22 years old, have a strong passion for travel, I vlog my travels and share it through social media to inspire and show the world that you don’t need a lot of money to travel.. that if its something you really want and love, then you can make it work.

5: What is the first trip you remember taking and how old were you?

I went to Thailand when I was 4 with my family

6: How often do you travel?

As much as I can. I try to do a trip at least once a month, little more difficult now that I’m working full time.

7:  How many countries have you visited?

Around 55-59 Countries

8:  What’s your favourite place so far?




9:  What was the most memorable moment of the trip?

-Hiking Mt.Fuji and exploring Osaka/minoo park in Japan.

10: Have you had any bad experiences while travelling?

I was hit by a huge storm whilst on top of Mt.Fuji, was extremely confronting.

11: How do you make an income while you are travelling?

I work full time as a travel agent

12: When and why did you decide to travel?

I love to travel because it not only allows you to explore the world, but it allows you to explore yourself, to find out who you really are and to find what you really love.

13: Do you think we have to be rich to travel the world?

Not at all, In our day and age, there are so many ways to travel the world with little money. In fact, you can actually make money now whilst travelling. Through social media or even as basic as teaching another language overseas.

14: Do you have any advice or tips for aspiring traveller?

If you want it bad enough, you and you alone need to make it work. It’s up to you to make it happen, no excuses need to be made, instead, find ways to make it happen. Travelling isn’t just a short trip to escape life, it’s much more. It allows you to experience the world and see how other cultures live… it makes you grateful and more appreciative of life, it changes you for the better and allows you to live a better life by exposing you to the world.

16: What can’t you travel without?

Nothing really, Im an easy traveller. Actually, my phone… haha

17:  Do you prefer solo travel or with someone else?

I love a mix of both, some trips I would rather do it solo, than others I prefer to travel with a group or a friend.. each country is different in terms of the company I want with me.

18:  Which country has the friendliest people?





19: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met so far? On travel

In Amsterdam, I meet an amazing individual who was wealthy and essentially had it all. wasn’t happy, however, so he sold everything, packed everything up and began travelling the world. 3 years later of travelling solo, his as happy as he’s ever been and has no intention to look back.

20: What’s been your scariest moment?

Being ontop of Mt.Fuji during a storm

21:  What was your most embarrassing moment?

Standing among thousands of happy travellers at the biggest music event in the world, ‘ Tomorrowland’

22:  How many foreign words have you learnt so far?

Hahaha many, however, cannot speak fluently in any other languages unfortunately

23: How many different currencies are you carrying?

Currently none

24: What’s the best piece of travel advice you’ve received?

Travelling is the best form of education

25: What’s the worst piece of travel advice you’ve received?

Stereotypes, people saying dont go there or they are rude…

26: What’s the longest you’ve been away from home?

2 years

27: What’s your dream job?

To travel the world full time, showing everyone the incredible world we live in whilst inspiring them to achieve their goals

28: Where would you most like to live in the world?

New York or London

29:  What’s been the weirdest thing you’ve seen? On travel

A family taking drugs in Athens on the street.

30: What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learnt?

Who I am

Dorm 😝

32: What’s your top travel tip?

Be organized and true to yourself

33: What travel scams have you heard about?

Many, through the internet and in person

34: Train or bus?

Bus, as you generally get to the country better, as opposed to being underground.

35: Fan or air conditioning?

Air Conditioning

36: What would you do if you didn’t have to work?

Travel the world, eat all local cuisine and record my travels

37: What’s the most reliable source of travel advice?

Do everything yourself.


38:  What’s been the best street food you’ve had?

Ohh hard to say, I worked in street food in London for 2 years… but id have to say Takoyaki in Japan

39: What was the most challenging thing you’ve done?

Separate me from others to focus on me

41:  Do you prefer to walk, take public transport, or take private transport?

I love to walk everywhere

43:  What’s the longest single journey you’ve taken?

Melbourne – London

See a couple having sex in public in central park, New York

45:  Would you rather see a lot of places or get to know one really well?

Get to know one really well

A 5-star hotel in Barcelona

49: Who is your dream travel companion?

An ambitious hard working, self-motivated, independent, beautiful female with similar travel and life intentions.

50:  What is your dream travelling experience?

To eat around the world, experiencing the authentic culture of couturiers I travel to.

51:  Bungee-jumping – yes or no?

Haha nope

52:  How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

Motivated, ambitious & determined.
